Heard About the Newest Newbery Winner, New Kid?

Middle School is hard enough without being the . . . New Kid. New Kid, by Jerry Craft, is a graphic novel about being, well, new! Another thing that's new? A Newbery winner in graphic novel form! (Now that's novel! Hehe). I'm only on chapter three, but this book's relatability has drawn me in. Jordan's parents are pushing him to be someone he isn't. So they send him to a private school where he's not only the new kid but the outsider. The illustrations are colorful and eye-catching. Question of the day: Do you like graphic novels? How come?
